The Art of Alchemy is an integrative approach to re-membering our deepest wisdom and actualizing our collective service. This program is designed to guide you through the process of both Inner Alchemy, a deep self inquiry & Collective Alchemy, the tending and transforming of relationships and community.
This journey will help you connect with the sacred human experience and the brilliance of your soul’s purpose. By learning to honor the parts of you that were hidden away and lovingly embrace the complexity of your being, you can move into wholeness and authentically create new beginnings. With conscious action, we shift from an ordinary life into an extraordinary existence — through remembrance we can access our innermost wisdom and creativity to help us plant seeds of awakening and world-making.
Our bodies hold truth, wisdom and infinite potential. Our unique multi-dimensional blueprint carries our purpose and keys to growth & healing. Our work is to uncover this wisdom and decode our purpose for our highest good. During this program we will spend time in deep self-reflection with the intention of meeting ourselves, again.
With respect and reverence for the healing power of nature where we will be guided in ceremonies with sacred forest medicine to awaken. Teachings, insights and revelations will come from your inner wellspring of wisdom - accompanied by the allyship of forest medicine. To enhance this process we will utilize a series of guided creative embodiment practices - including breathwork, meditation, movement, earth wisdom (altar work) teachings and integration circles.
Together we will create a dynamic container where we can step into a harmonious relationship with ourselves, the collective and the earth. Through radical self-acceptance, reverence and unconditional love we fuel the power of presence and sovereign embodiment.

Together we remember the ceremonial ways of life. It is time to refine our capacity to listen, to reconnect to community and to answer the call for global consciousness.

Together we center the role of imagination in times of collapse. We will explore and exercise our creative muscle and find in nature the ultimate creative force as her powerful teachings serve our awakening.
When we encounter and encourage the wild dance of the artist within, the creative self becomes part of the visionary collective.
INTEGRATION
Integration is the culmination and implementation of insights and learnings acquired during your journey.
We are co-creating a supportive container with an onsite integration session during your journey, tools and resources to help you integrate upon landing and the support of our community. We will offer 3 live one hour zoom calls post journey.

An Option To Deepen The Work Online
A Course On The Imaginal With Alixa Garcia
For those looking to dive deeper - The Art of Alchemy journey is being offered in conjunction with A Course on the Imaginal: Cultivating the Visionary Self. This 6 month, 13 session interactive course centers our living wholeness. Here, we use creative somatics to bring bodily awareness to our imagination praxis, learn to work with the autonomic nervous system, activate wakeful dreaming, employ a multiplicity of creative practices to do the important work of bodily, energetic, ancestral, and future generational tending needed for these times.
Here, we see the wound as the portal and grief as the ceremony. By using creative somatics and attention-intensive practices we help move trauma and grief through and out of the body so that we may begin to unearth the visionary within. In this work we recenter the Earth while bringing into focus our cosmic responsibility. We integrate creativity as a regular practice in our lives and the means by which we commune. When we encounter and encourage the wild dance of the artist within, the creative self becomes part of the visionary collective.
The online course runs from October 26- March 16th, every other Sunday.
During our ceremonial time in person, Alixa will facilitate Enchantment In Times of Collapse from the online course.

KARINA
Karina is in service to collective liberation through earth medicine healing arts and is a bridgekeeper for indigenous wisdom teachers. She is a certified holistic health, transformation and integration guide with a focus on plant medicine, working with groups and one on one clients. She is a certified transformational breathwork facilitator and specializes in awakening somatic wisdom. She is the founder of the wellness platform Sovereign by Nature, non-profit The ARC, healing container for womxn The Sacred Session and The BridgeKeepers Council advocacy group. She was recently the Program Director at a non profit healing center in Costa Rica.
She has studied with wisdom keepers, elders and teachers from many different lineages. Her work centers ceremonial work, collective healing, systems change and culture shifts.
Karina holds space from a place of non-judgement, she creates a divine container where others can shed, remember, integrate and grow. JULIAN
Julian DeVoe is a founding partner of Sovereign by Nature. He is n advocate for self-growth, thriving health and personal empowerment. Through the practices of ceremony, yoga, qigong, natural movement, conscious touch, shamanic meditation, mindful eating and practical spirituality he encourages personal discovery of truth. Julian’s unique movement and mindfulness (interdisciplinary) teaching approach is powerful and accessible.
Julian spent many years in Peru in service to Plant Medicine facilitation. He was most recently a Senior Program Director at a non profit healing center in Costa Rica.
He is the author of Robust Vitality and a book of verse, Insights Out.
ALIXA GARCIA
Alixa García is a Colombian-born, globally-raised, multidisciplinary artist, award-winning poet, climate organizer, and filmmaker. She is a published author, exhibited visual artist, music producer, and cultural strategist. Her performances and keynotes have taken her around the globe, from South Africa to Mexico, the U.K. to Cuba, and beyond. She has presented at hundreds of universities, conferences, and festivals including Harvard University, the United Nations, and T.E.D.: Ideas Worth Spreading.
With a 23-year background in community organizing, artistic and popular education, a lead thinker in creative strategies for social movements, facilitator, and international speaker, Alixa's expertise has been instrumental in supporting justice leaders, scholars and students, community activists and organizations, state representatives, and the nonprofit sector to realize their potential in the areas of creative blueprinting, trans-local and global organizing, and environmental education. Her unique approach centralizes art for movement building and the role of imagination as an essential tool for liberation.
Alixa is also a sought-after visual artist. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, CA; the Kunsthal KAdE Museum, Netherlands, and The Pop-Up Museum, New York, NY, to name a few (artist bio below). Her work has been published by Whit Press, AK Press, Monacelli, Hatchett, & Daraja Press. She is an editorial board member of E.R.A. Coalition & Fund for Women's Equality, lead curriculum developer and facilitator for the CS Fund Just Transition Fellowship 2024-2025, and curator of the Imagination Infrastructure Conference, 2024.
CLAUDIA CUENTAS
Claudia Cuentas is a Peruvian ceremonialist, artist, researcher, educator, and somatic therapist (LMFT), passionate about the Art of healing and the decolonization of health. She is the co-founder of Cora Center, a License Psilocybin Service Center (www.coracenter.org) and a certified Psilocybin facilitator living in Portland Oregon. She comes from an Aymara heritage and a strong lineage of artists, social activists and healers in her family.
Claudia is trained in many different modalities all in connection to trauma recovery, restoring health and the arts. Her approach is a combination of 20 years of training in Western Healing modalities, and Indigenous Ways of knowing from the Andes and Jungle in South America. Some of her training includes Somatic Experiencing (SEP), Drama Therapy (CIIS), Expressive Arts Therapy (Tamalpa Institute), MDMA assisted Psychotherapy Training Program (MAPS) and Ketamine for trauma recovery (Polaris Insight Center). Claudia also has been ordained by her teachers in Ecuador and Peru, after extensive studies and preparations for almost two decades.
Her focus is on the intersectionality of generational and ancestral trauma, plant medicine science, the art of healing, eco-informed therapy, somatic/nervous system and indigenous knowledge. Claudia is also a recording musician and a singer songwriter.

Tierra Valiente (Brave Earth), Center for Applied Cultural Transition, is a living laboratory anchored in the values of reciprocity, regeneration, and resiliency. They are located in the volcanic highlands in Northern Costa Rica and are expressed through a center, regenerative farm, mutual-aid network and burgeoning residential community.
As a living lab, they are aware of the dominant structures and systems that have calcified our culture and are living in the questions of how we can create transition pathways towards structures and systems that serve Life.

FAQ'S
-To complete your registration you must first register for the program with the link provided above and also register for your accommodations and food through the Brave Earth Site - link is also listed above.
-We begin our journey January 23rd, we ask that you arrive to Brave Earth by 4pm to check in, join our welcome circle and dinner.
-Journey end date is January 30th - 10am departure on shared shuttle. You may arrange private transportation as needed based on your flight.
-Airport: You will fly into San Jose Costa Rica. There will be shuttle options shared with you upon registration. The center is located about 2.5 hours from the airport. Please do not book flights until you have been medically cleared to participate.
-Round trip shuttle options from San Jose Airport area to Brave Earth will be offered after registration. You will also have an option to select Private Transport. Shuttle costs are additional and you will pay the driver directly.
-Payment - We ask for a 50% deposit to reserve your spot. Due to the nature of this work the deposit is non-refundable but may be transferable up to 60 days prior to the journey with the approval of SVXN. You will be given multiple payment method options upon registration.
-We will invoice you for the remaining total due 60 days prior to the journey start date.
-If you register less than 30 days prior to the start date the full rate is needed to book your spot.
-Please do not make travel arrangements until you have been medically cleared to participate. There will be a medical intake form emailed to you once you register. If you are deemed medically unsafe to participate your deposit will be refunded.
-All logistics and additional travel and preparatory information will be sent to you upon registration.
